Not only did first timers Viv and Paddy, Mick and Bramble and Maralynne and Buddy get places, the following handlers and dogs also took part for the first time (and there are more in the pipeline):

• Ellie and Molly (Ellie may only be 10 but she seemed the least nervous of the lot)
• Anne and Bonnie
• Sarah and Tia
• Rachel and Sam
• Alice and Hamish 

They should all be very pleased with themselves. Sam was also a first timer running daughter Alice's dogs while she was off skiing with her Dad Roy. 

 

Thanks must go to members, friends and family who helped run the rings and especially to Gilli who created the computer programme to work out the results which meant that we go away before dark. 

 

Our club again won the overall runners up trophy out of the 12 clubs taking part, beating some very strong teams. 

 

But it's not all about success. We're happy just to see a growing number of our members enjoying themselves and trying out competions.
